Make Change Inclusive Sport Programme Ltd was founded following the COVID-19 pandemic, where the team knew firsthand the devastating impact that the lockdowns and regulations would have on activity opportunities for people of all abilities / disabilities.
We identified that these people would need support in order to return to sport and physical activity, and that we could play a key role in helping a community rebuild and come back stronger.
In order to combat inactivity and isolation widespread following the height of the pandemic, Make Change began to deliver fun and inclusive activities across the region. The Make Change workforce is comprised of professional and enthusiastic activators and coaches.

The team believes sport has the power to make change in more ways than health benefits, from increasing representation across society in coaching roles, reducing barriers to activity via transport, equipment and workforce, and in challenging prejudice and stereotypes with regards to physical activity.
Since then, Make Change has gone from strength to strength, delivering across schools, universities, businesses, sports and events. In 2022, the Make Change team delivered at the historic Birmingham 2022 Commonwealth Games, engaging over 30,000 participants at festival sites across the region.
